Elena doesn't seem to care that much anymore so I don't know why they're even bothering (I know because of the sire-bond but just seems like a waste). "You are not even worth the calories I burn talking to you" and "Anybody capable of love is capable of being saved" - Caroline Forbes. Goofs: When the group is hiking up to the cave they all walk at human speed, with Shane leading them at the front. There is no logical reason for this, considering that everyone in the group except Shane has supernatural powers (vampire speed, hunter's physical ability, witch powers). They were all in a hurry to find Silas before any rival groups could and if one of them had carried Shane, the hike would have lasted a matter of minutes. Throughout the entire episode, no one is able to get a signal on their cell phone nor is Shane able to receive a signal on the satellite phone, yet somehow Elena is able to send Caroline pictures of Jeremy's tattoo.

While I don’t think Caroline would have said it if she weren’t dying, I believe she did mean every word. She wants to see the best in people. That’ll be more clear in her character as time goes on. Plus, you can catch her making these surprised and touched faces with him when he does something nice/sweet/funny and she has to keep herself in check.

It truly is. He suffers so much and some people tend to undermine that a lot. He went through abuse from his father, and then being treated like a second option from Katherine. He deserves to be loved.

I love how the writers try to touch on his trauma in the future seasons because his pain and the things that he went through are really overlooked in comparison to other people.

one of the eps where I just dont see how the idea of klaroline makes sense. He constantly gets her to a near death experience then manipulates with the human act like she's in this situation twice cuz you put her there lmao. This proves how I feel that the writers just put random scenes with them two for their fanbase. It has no true meeting as it's only been a repetitive theme between the two, he gets her infected, uses her to lure Tyler, she plans to kill him multiple times with her friends. The idea of them is so weird to me. It only has a fanbase cuz Joseph and Candice have great chemistry when filming but when it comes to their characters, it makes no sense IMO. If they went the route of delena s2-3 then id see it but their scenes just feel like "oh lemme make a klaroline moment" without an actual leading story.

That's the absolute minority, lmao. The fact is that the majority of people who dislike Caroline are the ones who don't like that she talks shit (rightly so) about Damon and/or Delena. Then there are some who deny that fact but deep down, they like Elena, Damon and/or Delena, so that comes out as Caroline hate. Just a fact.

I do love Caroline a lot. Sometimes I just find her so irritating. This was a good episode for her even though her scenes with Klaus were really just fanservice

Agreed. Caroline mentioned feeling bad about Tyler killing Klaus in 4x09 so was trying to remember all the things he'd done to feel better about it. So, it's a callback to that moment I think when she said she catches herself trying to forget all the things he's done.

It’s you guys thinking Caroline was acting for me😂 I think Tyler’s plan was just to let Caroline die in front of Klaus and bet on his feelings for her getting in the way. I don’t think they planned Caroline’s dialogue with him beforehand, I think she was telling the truth.

Her feelings won’t change just because she’s human again. She will always love damon no matter what. That scene is equivalent to a marriage proposal to me.

Everyone around him, keeps on saying she will go back to Stefan and that her feelings for him aren’t real. I feel so bad for damon because he has so much self-doubt and low self-esteem. It’s so heartbreaking that damon thinks he doesn’t deserve to be loved.
