This was my fave movie in hs! I've prob watched it 100 x's. It's trippy and strange and the soundtrack is 10/10. Is it Schizophrenia, is it legit time travel? All we know is, cellar door π©π

Also, one other thought that might help in processing the film... There are theories about people with schizophrenia experiencing "perception of time" and "timing of perceptions" that are out of sync with each other and that that leads to their condition.

Sparkle Motion! π Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut is really good as a re-watch. Highly recommend watching it (especially if you are still thinking about Donnie Darko for days after watching the theatrical release).
