This is my overall least favorite season but probably my favorite finale of the show. Also Nina Dobrev's acting in that goodbye scene will always get me. It's so good!

As much as I disliked this season. I actually really liked this season finale. The stakes were high, the emotions were there, and the cliffhanger was one of my favorite cliffhangers in the entirety of TVD. This cliffhanger had the audience in a chokehold for MONTHS taking two fan favorites out in one episode had everyone sick.

Damon was a true hero this episode. His noble sacrifice helped bring his brother back and save everyone in mystic falls. the last selfless thing damon does on earth is help Liz out too. I’m gonna miss him so much, it’s not gonna be the same without him.😭

“Please don’t leave me.” Elena begging form damon to come back is so depressing to watch. Nina does such an amazing job at acting. I genuinely feel elena’s heartbreak and pain over losing someone she loves all over again.
