America, like most of the world, had to toss the British Empire out on its face. They're literally the only ones you folks can make fun of... And since America is currently one of the two major world powers the rest of us are all allowed to make fun of you. Fun duality where the Brits and Americans can both make fun of each other. --- (For the record I am Irish... culturally we helped write the book on mocking the Brits.)
