Can you explain how my suggestion doesn’t work plot or character wise? Also you’re allowed to think that Carole’s NH era was good. I found her really annoying personally, but that doesn’t mean that it objectively was. Elena’s NH era felt very fun in my opinion and actually warranted.

Your suggestion doesn't make sense character-wise and plot-wise though, so it's understandable and reasonable that they went this way. And anyway, NH Caroline was so much more enjoyable and entertaining to watch than NH Elena, which was just cringe on so many levels and irritating to watch.

So happy for this episode favorite season and remaining episodes are my favorite as well. Also I was wondering I love y’all feedback and commentary. I think tho ima have to start watching the full length and sync up a copy cause I know on the early access you have to edit and cut it up and can’t have the video still up playing with less cuts and it muted while you guys are talking over it sometimes things are missed but o know that’s what the full length is for. But thanks again for all you guys hard work and pumping out all this content for us I know we all definitely appreciate it.

It’s a pretty unpopular opinion from what I’ve seen, but I’ve never been a fan of the no humanity Caroline arc. It not only feels repetitive, but it feels like a complete waste of time. Rather than dealing with the actual plot, it feels like the writers use Caroline as a way to just use up screen time and then introduce a big threat in the last two episodes or so. It would’ve been fine to just have Caroline actually deal with her grief and have Stefan help her through that than what they gave us. I hope this makes sense, but if not oh well.
