yes elenas blood is the cure now, you missed it but damon said once elena took it he would just get it from elena and as long as the cure is in damon he wont age like katherine did because it got sucked out of her and since elena has only been a vampire for a little bit she wouldnt really age that far. hopefully that makes more sense

Stefan is only a ripper when his humanity is ON. He’s perfectly in control when it’s off, because he doesn’t care. When his humanity is on, the feeling of feeding overcomes him and is so strong, that he feeds so hard that their heads rip off. Then his guilt makes him put the bodies back together again.

Lol I know it's difficult because the point of commentaries are to be able to actually give commentary but I'd definitely suggest having the captions on for you guys if you don't. Just because they do tend to mention some important things you guys miss out on haha (i.e. how they were going to be able to take the cure together)

Damon can take the cure. He just needs to drink from Elena. If the cure is removed from him, he will age 145 years and die. As long as the cure is inside him, he will be fine.

Damon was explaining how he takes the cure at the beginning of the episode. Elena takes it, and then Damon drinks Elena’s blood, ergo taking the cure. As long as no one takes the cure from him, he will not rapidly grow old like Katherine did, he will age normally.
