Arguably the best episode this season? The change in story structure after seasons of the same was much appreciated. Definitely one of my favourite Damon episodes too, his breakdown makes me tear up every time 💔

I agree! I’ve been a fan of the show since a little after it started airing and this episode has always been imo one of the best made. It finally gives viewers a better insight and perspective for who Damon was. He’s always been my favorite.

In addition to Daemon, Stefan is another person who was selfish with Bonnie, not caring if she was weak because of magic or not. Caroline and Matt were the only ones who cared about her.

Daemon was selfish in this episode, even though it was his soul, he still was. He said he doesn't care if Bonnie is weak because she uses too much magic. And it's not the first time this season that he's been selfish like that with her this season.
