I was thinking about this movie for days after i watched it. i was drawn to it intially due to the cat POV, as a cat person i love the small details in the catβs movements. then as the story progressed, i was wrapped up in the communication between each animal, the courage of the cat to keep going and the overall meaning and symbolism of death and survival. i kept thinking what on earth did these humans do to this planet! also the capybara is my favorite.

I also wanna note that my cat watched this movie the whole time with me, she was completely entertained. I wish there was more reviews, reactions, or breakdowns for this because thereβs so much symbolism to discuss

Oh my heart, your anxiety was exactly like mine when I first watched this. This movie deserved the Oscar. It was wonderful. I think the bird died. Him ascending was symbolic.
