The most diabolical thing is that they marketed this movie as a first love, coming of age story, so when Thomas J died people were sobbing in the theatres.

“He can’t see without his glasses. Put his glasses on” kills me every time. I obviously couldn’t appreciate the themes of this movie watching it growing up but I always loved Vada’s character.
