In terms of quality of TVD seasons, I would say it's like this: 2 > 1 > 3 > 4 > 6 > 8 > 7 > 5 I think S8's quite a good season, especially with the nostalgia and throwbacks to S1. It's definitely better than S5 and S7.

Legacies got really good at the end but I liked some episodes I just feel like you have to watch all 3 to complete the universe. Plus it shows Ricks kids too. Paul Wesley directed one of my favorite episodes on Legacies.

The Legacies mention was so surprising! I know a lot of people don’t like the show but as someone who watched both TVD and TO as they were coming out I couldn’t imagine not watching Legacies and I really hope you guys watch it or at least consider it after you finish TVD and TO.

That's why I always say that Julie doesn't explore Bonnie as a witch, she's always limiting her, unlike the witches in the Originals. So there will always be someone to say that Bonnie is weaker than the witches there, which is NOT true.

Ok unlike the vast majority of the fandom I actually really love S8. I actually find it to be the 4th best season of the show after seasons 4, 3, and 6. It’s quick, emotional, traumatizing, lore-heavy, and really gives character development to the brothers. Plus it has a nice ending that leaves you happy.

I miss her too😭 I hate that Nina left after season 6 to this day. Obviously she didn’t know it would only keep going for 2 seasons afterwards, but I wish she had just done one more even

Once again, the writers are taking away Bonnie's magic for no reason. When they don't kill the character, they take away her magic. If you pay attention, this season she barely used her magic. Kat Graham kept saying this and she's not wrong.

I love this moment of Enzo and Bonnie in the cabin, even though she's trying to kill him hahahah. What he says to her is so cute. And again I love when Damon, Bonnie and Enzo have interactions, it's hilarious hahahah.

That Defan moment is another one of my favorites that make me teary-eyed. Such a beautiful and vulnerable moment between them that they needed to have, especially Damon. 🥰🥰🥺😢

Damon did a selfless thing and went into the vault, knowing the risks in order to save Bonnie’s life. It’s sad that he was taken over by whatever was trapped inside there.

They actually did bring Nina dobrev back in this finale so she can voice those lines that damon hears in the cave.

The moment between damon and Stefan before he went in there made me so emotional. Damon tells him to let him go so he can be happy with Caroline. He chose to sacrifice himself to save everyone from the danger.

When Damon heard Elena’s voice through the vault, it broke my heart. He missed Elena so much, that he convinced himself she was still in there. His love for her is so powerful. it’s one of the highlights of the episode for me.

I really liked Damon and Stefan's conversation before he entered the vault, I like it when Damon admits his mistakes and shows more of his fragile and sincere side, like in the last episode with Bonnie.
