I honestly couldn't find it in me to feel bad for him cuz the way he recounted the engagement story had me thinking he still is self centered and hasn't even bothered to think y she rejected him until now. plus the way he constantly victimized himself in his other stories like mayhaps its a good thing he never found out about that letter

This was my favorite of the season, so hauntingly beautiful. Really shows how our anger/ego can be our own worst enemy. He could have had a completely different life! I'm devastated for them.
