Hahaha, I see that! My inspiration actually comes from a classic piece: The Swing by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. I think Little Feat was inspired by the same thing! ;)

Thank you! Escaping the boundaries of the panels is one of my favorite techniques. I use it to create movement and action, as well as to freeze moments in time, like slow motion :)

Also, this is going to sound really random, but the last panel on the second page reminds of the cover art for the band Little Feat's Sailin' Shoes album. Look it up and you'll see what I mean.

Once again, I love the way you have the characters escaping the boundaries of the panels. It's a great way to convey movement and action. It really brings the page to life.
