I agree that Alex made some bad decisions in this episode by inviting that guy to her client’s home, but she is human. She was lonely on the holiday and also has a very real human desire for sexual satisfaction and some intimacy. I doubt she really has the alone time with raising her daughter to be able to “take care of herself” if you know what I mean. It was a reckless decision that could have had very bad consequences, but I definitely understand why she did it. What a sad conversation between the two women at the end there.
