That’s one of the reasons I like the podcast so much. It’s such a personal and relaxed way to talk to people. Less performative, more genuine even than long form standup
These are the connections, Venn diagram I enjoy so much with podcasting. Our middle son struggles with his own mental illness. Listening to Paul discuss his life in such a calm, measured way is a welcome view, heartening even, as it's so different from our son's current abilities.

I wrote a big long reply after listening but somehow lost it (the mobile patreon app seems a bit iffy). I won't try to do it all again but it was a basically a defense of shame.
