I mean the only amicable compromise is if they broke up. but they both equally don't want that. there's no option that leaves them together and happy without one of them getting what they want and the other not.

Idk I feel like the relationship did progress this season and the endings were different. At the end of the first season she was nowhere near being ready to convert, but at the end of this season she had the epiphany that all the little things about judaism she enjoys (shown throughout season 2) actually make her Jewish, so I think she's somewhat ready to convert - maybe not right away but she's comfortable doing it in the near future. I think although there were no drastic changes in their relationship this season, the relationship got a lot deeper, they had conflicts that they overcame and they learnt more about each other

Yeah this season was basically the same plot as the last season except they butchered Noah's character to get there. But I am hopeful that now that this issue is solved (please let this be the end of it!) that s3 will be good. I want to see Joanne really go through the process of being jewish and see their future happen. the party for the finale better be noah and joanne's wedding and it should be morgan and sasha running after each other

i dont think there’s anything wrong w being spiritual/religious and connecting to that, but i’m just icky with joanne essentially having to change herself for noah and he basically got what he wanted… idk just irks me the wrong way

I hated how the finale ending basically felt the exact same as the first season's ending. literally nothing changed, Joanne still unsure about converting and they almost break up but Noah realizes he loves her no matter what.. like was that not the same or is it just me? lol
