🕑 Added 2018-09-10 12:26:58 +0000 UTC This is the time of year, post edinburgh, where all your plans suddenly fall off a cliff. You’ve pushed everything into this month of intense work, and then when all those blocked out days on your calendar suddenly stretch out into empty space, the questions start sliding into the corners of your vision like the halo of a migraine. For me, it can mean some sleepless nights. Anyway, here’s some comedy I wrote around this time of year a few years ago on the SBS Comedy platform. Because what are you going to do with your gut wrenching fears except turn them into comedy?

I'm taking issue with you on point 1 :P I've mad manic phases (bipolar) or sometimes simply being awake for a long time... I like staying awake for 2-3 days, and I've often thought that it's such a shame human beings have to sleep. But then I wonder, would we get more stuff done... or would we start to go a little crazy after a while? And then I expand that question to "do you really want immortality? Wouldn't you go mad?"

If you play music loudly enough (speakers or earbuds) you never have to face your poor choices. Tip from a pro ... I see no way this ends poorly.

A nice bit of bed-time reading. Thanks!
