What im getting is Victor is pro status quo, why does he cling on to these institutions as if they are some universal truth. A removal of the system and its results say way more about what the system actually is and how dangerous it is and continues to be (even though we cant see it as such explicitly). What is there to fear? Start anew

Can the hosts please clarify what "anarchism" means for them? Most anarchists I know simply want to bring accountability down to the lowest possible level while also increasing the sphere of individual autonomy. They seem open to conversations about how to do this without compromising individual security to an unacceptable degree, e.g. through cybernetics. I don't understand why a philosophy centred around conducting politics without automatically resorting to coercion is considered derisory, when it in fact seems like a worthy objective. Sure there will always be hypocrisy (anarchists are human), but people and glasshouses? And in fact, out of all the left, anarchists have a vision of a better future which should at least intrigue Pills.
