First step would probably be to check this and make sure it's installed properly: https://triplis.github.io/nav/help.html Typically, issues with the suspicious lump of clay means the mod didn't get installed properly.

Hi there! I just downloaded the latest version of the Sorcerer Mod that is supposed to work with the Island Living patch... I placed the "suspicious lump of clay" and have the option to investigate it, but as soon as I click it, it disappears in my sims que and nothing happens. I do play with other Mods and thought maybe it was MCC causing this, as I did get a last exception error, and I took MCC out, but it's still happening. Do you know of any other Mods this one conflicts with? Thanks =)

Thank you all for the thoughtful comments and kind words. :) As far as "per creation" goes, I have thought about it in the past. My main concern would be "what qualifies something as a creation." Some updates are small, others are larger. Some mods are small, others are larger, etc. I wouldn't want to be micromanaging the size of an update or mod to ensure that it qualifies as a creation or doesn't qualify and I exclude it. I can bring this up again in the final weekly progress update, as I'm not sure this comment will notify anyone, so may not get seen. But this is where something like paypal may work better, as then you can decide with each "creation" whether it is worth donating and what you think it is worth to you. I'm just concerned that with an automated "per creation" system, decisions about what qualifies as a creation would be inconsistent on my part and difficult to manage, due to the fluctuating nature of modding and the size of updates and mods.
