The Rockwood and Company Chocolate Flood

It’s well worth a read… especially as it also includes another story of a similarly bizarre nature. Under the header of “Boy Brings Home Bomb” it tells the story of a 14-year-old who proudly presented his family with a live grenade he’d found on the street. Kids got into some pretty interesting mischief back in the early 1900s!

Fascinating Horror
That's way earlier than I was expecting for the first person to be killed by a robot. Very strange and very interesting - this would fit well with a video I'm working on now about workplace accidents
Fascinating Horror
It has to be about the most whimsical non-water flood in history!

How about a video on the death of Robert Williams? He was an American factory worker who was killed by an industrial robot arm on January 25, 1979. The incident made him the first human to ever be killed by a robot. Here's the Wikipedia for it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Williams_(robot_fatality) BTW, googling "Death of Robert Williams" will get you results about Robin Williams's death, just so you know.

Sounds like something from a Willy Wonka film. If only there had been a marshmallow flood and we had to pick it up using graham crackers!
