After the review of I Know What You Did Last Summer, I realized how perfectly good/bad 90s horror movies were. I demand more 90s horror!
James Moyner
If You Could See What I Hear.
Jacob Matthew Crawford
Looks like my vote is for the underdog. I'm voting for School Spirit! A supernatural sex comedy produced by Roger Corman... Why not?
Jordan Ogle
Absolutely love Hell Night!!
Justina
Which one is the melodrama?
Justina
Grimcutty is so boring. I have no idea what Hell Night is, but I hope it's awful in all the good ways.
Zodiac
I don't even wanna look at the thing, but you're right... Also, I am aware. I don't blame them.
James Moyner
Then you can be happy when Brad tears it a new one. If it makes you feel better both Siskel and Ebert gave if thumbs down and if I remember correctly both put it on their worst of the year lists.
James Moyner
I love Valentine. One of the few films where the wronged person has revenge on those who hurt them and ends up alive at the end. Valentine > My Bloody Valentine
Zodiac
I'mma be pissed if that damn melodrama wins. It's personal, I hate that film.
LOSTie-Chan
OMFG another close race between the melodrama and the horror film.
Nicklas Thoft Jensen
Got to go with melodrama. The Beastmaster is blind in that one.
john kirby
Fear? The documentary on the punk band that trashed studio 8A during their Saturday Night Live performance? Sign me up!
Brandon Barker
Hell Night! Come On!!!!
andimalloutofbubblegum
Crank up that Machinehead by Bush! It’s teen Fatal Attraction time!
Daniel Tibbets
Though "Fear" was a very close second.
Daniel Tibbets
Melodrama, baby!
Daniel Tibbets
Fatherhood tends to substantially decrease one's time to see movies.
Dennis Morrigan McDonough
I chose "Fear" but rethought and went for melodrama. The Beastmaster is better than Marky Mark. Also, Tom Sullivan, the real-life person whose life was fictionalized into "If You Could See What I Hear," seemed like a pretty decent guy when I saw him interviewed back then. Here's his story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Sullivan_%28singer%29?wprov=sfla1
FunnyMusicMan
I meant worst movies of 2024.
Brad Jones
I don’t think I’ll be doing one since I didn’t see a lot of movies last year.
FunnyMusicMan
Unrelated, but are you going to put out the movies of 2024 list video?
David Cavazos
It is time for the scab that is “If you could see what I hear” to be peeled off.
Hado
I think we should all pick the melodrama. Everyone knows the Snob loves them.
Russell Hale
My vote for Scream Factory releases, Hell Night and School Spirits (but voted for Hell Night, wish I could vote for more choices 😭)
Tyrone Crooks
The melodrama needs a bit more time to win, so I'll go with the early career Wahlberg/Witherspoon thriller
Michael Popick
I will always vote for the shitty 80s mellow drama, always.
