in a lot of cases its not which is why my solution was to lower the gain on the interface in future recordings, i tried editing the audio myself but it didn't help really

is clipping audio salvageable with editing if it was already recorded at too high gain? I can try editing the audio of this vid as a test if u think normalizing will do anything

you dont have to be afraid of editing audio in post, you can trust your ears to hear what sounds bad or good, if something doesnt work who cares! just ctrl z right? a drop in audio quality is acceptable if it means no more clipping, it makes it difficult to sleep to a vid when my eardrums are getting blown out every few seconds

hmm I will try that, I worried that normalizing will make the quality not as good, I'm kinda afraid to mess with the audio too much in post since I don't know what to do LOL

the ear licking part, in fact, a lot of your ear licking videos have the same clipping issue, you should try reducing the gain on your audio interface and normalize the levels in post
