OH DEAR
🕑 Added 2025-01-14 07:11:29 +0000 UTCSo it seems Patreon is changing their setup and now requires me to give them more tax information. This'd be fine except that the resulting report from them to Australia's ATO will mean I end up paying double the tax!
I've only just become aware of this as I haven't received any Patreon notification this entire time (which is what I generally rely on to know things) and instead was buried in am email inbox which I don't check that often.
It's telling me I have a deadline of Jan 20th. I'll continue to post things until then, but this is the heads up to everyone that this is not going to be worth it for me - I'll probably need to cancel my Patreon and look at shifting to another platform π

Oh no π that sucks π I don't know much about other platforms appart from subscribestar, but in my opinion Patreon was better for browsing artworks But I think Deviantart also offer subscription services, maybe you should take a look there π

That sucks. I've first seen your work on Deviant Art. If you cancel your Patreon account, would you post more of your work there?
