Happy Thanksgiving Alch! What really impresses me is how the players have developed since the first few days of the season where the Warriors didn't even get a lead in about 3 or 4 straight games and they looked like the worst team in the history of the NBA. Well-they've still got the worst record but their attitude is so much better than so many middling teams that are going nowhere in this league. I think of places like New York (Knicks), Chicago, Washington, Cleveland, Memphis. Even as hyped as Trae Young is-and he's a great offensive player so far-Atlanta has won only 4 games as well as the Warriors. I'm still glad that this team on the floor for the Dubs is playing hard and getting better. Because unlike all the teams I mentioned-the Warriors are basically the only ones playing without their starting lineup. No Klay, Steph, DLo and Looney. It's going to be a fun year watching them. I just hope they can keep both Bowman and Chriss.

We have rights to Bowman and Chriss? And do you think it’s realistic locking Burks down on a multi year deal if Dray was dealt before the deadline? I really think we have multiple trade possibilities with Philadelphia and/or Miami including DLO, Green, and Burks

Klay was without a doubt the best part of this game. And watching him get hyped on plays from Curry/DLo. For this game, I call this the DRAYMOND GREEN effect. Now obviously.....this was the Chicago Bulls. Yes Lavine is dangerous, but lets be real. The Bulls arent that much better than these Warriors lol. So Im not overreacting here. But this game was basically exactly the OKC game. The big difference was having a high IQ vet like Draymond in there at the end to control the game and make smart decisions. The way he slowed down instead of rushed everything like Bowman or Burcs would have. I still feel they were chucking too many threes unnecessarily but they executed well down the stretch when they had to. Happy Thanksgiving Alch. Game against the heat tonight could be interesting. But then.....the Sunday to decide all Sundays. Im pretty sure Im gonna have 3-4 heart attacks during that 49ers-Ravents game.

Anthony, I'm not sure what Burks not being here next year has to do with this year's development. With a full squad next year, the young Dubs will be in a supporting role. Usage isn't an issue, none of them will be called on the carry the franchise, just to give hard, reliable minutes.

Kerr is silencing the doubters...Myself included. We all knew he was great at handling stars...but he is earning his stripes as coach as now. As silly as that sounds with those rings.

Kerr and the Staff definitely deserve some credit..but id give the lions share to Myers. Notice they are all tough..even Poole. I know its a talent driven sport, but toughness and physicality is under rated in todays game. Will get a good look at that tonight with Miami. Anyway I guess what Im getting at is Kerr has been great! But Myers understood what type of player would mesh with his coaching style. Kerr has the finesse to mask it, but he does not like the soft type.

true but remember as alc pointed out in this video: Burks has been a part of the elite eight and his usage is hella high. He most likely won't be around next season. Also teams are not really getting up for us. However Kerr is doing a great job and is proving his worth.

The "end of the dynasty" nay-sayers gonna' be eating some crow next year. If this year is about nothing more than watching the effort and energy we're seeing from these young dudes night after night, it's a HUGE success!

This year is such a blessing. We could have slowly slid into fringe contention, then watched our management gamble on big trades to try for an instant rebuild. Or worse, blow it all up and start from scratch. Instead, we get to shelve all of our established assets, inject a fuck-ton of promising youth into the fire and coach the hell out of them to rapidly turn them into actual players well ahead of where they'd normally be as bench warmers. And it's working. Games like last night feel like we're ahead of schedule, especially considering how bad they were at defense at the start. Respect to Kerr and his staff. They are putting in a ton of effort and it's showing.

I agree with you Alc, this is fun to watch. The way the season started, man, I was a little depressed about it. My question for you: who is more responsible for this, other than the players themselves? Kerr or Myers? Part of me says Myers found the right pieces, but the other part says Kerr put them together and prepared them properly. Or, is it someone else?

As a dubs fan this year is filled with Thanksgiving stories all over the Warriors, KY getting his chance + inprobably passing, Spellman despair with weight and beating it long enough to see he really can do it and belongs, Chriss a finds a home and a place, same for G-Rob and the Bully on his way to stardom. When the stars come back and we are whole these kids are going to make dynasty 2.0 real!
