Both he and PG have got a pass...I think somehow people view it as noble to go play for the Clippers and not the Lakers. But I also think that pass gets revoked real quick if they don't at least make a finals. Do you agree its easy to imagine Trez and Beverley feeling a type a way?

I honestly don't think Kawhi gets enough shit. Leaving a championship team desperate to keep him (has a FA star ever LEFT after a championship before)? Forcing a team to trade the whole house for another star? In my opinion, not exactly innocent compared to what KD did, who signed a contract with a Finals-LOSING team. and took LESS money to keep some bench pieces. All the 3-1 crap is schoolyard little kid narrative bullshit. KD put in 9 seasons in OKC. Oh, and also the Clips were already a playoff caliber team in the West who could bother the Dynasty Warriors? Kawhi deserves some 'snake' shit, like KD got, in my opinion.

Even here in Vietnam, I've seen some people clearly in shock about Kobe--I heard about it from a ton of fans I got into bball, and even they--kids who never saw him play, or only in his last year--were kinda stunned, if only because of how BIG his presence in the NBA is. Like, some were asking me, basically, WTH? I had to tell them: imagine if MJ had taught everybody in the world to be MJ, and understand that literally every guy in the league right now bar maybe two, *grew up* watching Kobe just own the League. It was a gut-punch for real.

Before the trade went down, I really thought that Kawhi to the clippers was enough to win a championship (at least WCF), given the way they performed in the playoffs. Also, the trade for "Playoff P" wasn't good at all, they could've easily built a better team with those assets. You can turn Gallinari, SGA and 5 picks into 2 or 3 top quality players, at needed positions.

Do you think the clippers should trade for D rose? Given that his value is so damn low. The Lakers allegedly rejected a trade of Caruso and a 2nd round pick for Rose (proposed by the pistons).
