I'm a huge Dame fan and loved the attention he got but can't hate that Luka has taken the role of bubble media darling. He might be hurt, but rn PG needs to just say something along the lines I sucked and it's on me to perform better. He could also say nothing but I doubt that at this point. Sidenote: Jackson is hitting 3s, but dude is not good defensively. Maybe the Clippers should use Shamet more, but ultimately the defensive issues starts with the Head coach not devising a scheme when he has so many options in his toolkit.

I think Alch broke it down in another video that Luka is a leader. He knows when to defer to his teammates and they want to rise to the occasion for him. Harden has similar agility and strength, but his game feels more like, "what can I get away with" while Luka's game feels more like "what can we accomplish"

Doc Rivers probably smiling everytime PG misses a shot. Like you said, I almost feel bad about how bad he is playing. Luka is looking like another Bird / LeBron / KD level guy. Crazy thing is he is shooting 75% at the rim because of his hesitations, ability to read defense, and foul bait tactics. He isn't even very good at 3s despite taking a ton of them, only 31.6%. Though probably taking a ton of 3s is helping to provide more space for his drives.

I know a lot of people compare Luka's game to that of Harden. I kinda see it, but I don't mind watching Luka like I do with Harden. I wonder if that's because Luka wasn't getting the same whistles that Haden does - or if there's just something extra to his game like his strength. What are your thoughts on that comparison?

I'd take Luka over the freak and any other rising star, that said, he really isn't a good closer, skip pointed that out and people just assume it's hating. He was 0-10 on this shots, and it's because in clutch time he turns into another player, he starts playing pure ISO and disrupts the rythm of the team, it wouldn't be so bad if he didn't unnecessarily run out the clock, he really needs to work on that. People kill LeBron for how he closes games, but I thinks that'd be the best for Luka, given that he isn't a freak athlete like LeBron, or an elite shooter from 3, just keep playing your game.

I was really impressed with Luka's defence in this game. I noticed what you mentioned as well, Luka is REALLY fucking strong, I saw him nudge Kawhi like it was nothing quite a few times (not many people in the league can do that) and the way he just big boys people in the paint is remarkable. On Another note I kind of feel bad for Kawhi... this dude out here giving his all on both sides looking like a top 5 player that he is,and PG has just been god awful, he's for sure in his own head at this point.

I don't think white boy is an offensive phrase, but I think it was the terms surrounding it, and his intent with that phrase, he was trying to use it in a way to to be disrespectful to white basketball players, implying they're soft and shit. I think you can call a player soft but don't think you can call them soft because of their race.
