Molten Armour
🕑 Added 2025-09-10 09:00:03 +0000 UTCI actually drew this years ago, but I was trawling through some of my old works and decided to repurpose it for a new item deck! (Yes, I’m working on another btw!)
I imagine it’s something you’d find at the heart of a volcano, guarded by some large magma elementals. Or maybe a nice suit of armour is melted down with dragon fire. I was originally going to have it grant resistance - but even with resistance, lava can deal an incredible amount of damage.
Immunity I felt was a little too extreme too.
I decided to settle for this ‘limited’ resistance - there is a cap on how much damage the wearer can take. 10 each round seems a fair ammount. Along with vulnerability to cold.
This makes the swimming in lava ability much more viable I think.
