You know I think the last few pages have really set in who the antagonist (and true monsters of the story’s will be), who the domineering rapists are and who the radical bigots are. While the emperor and queen are evil a fair amount of fairies would attack Zak’s kind without a second thought, and ironically they wouldn’t be wrong given how most Nihallik are.

this is a sketchy clock, I will do it better, but yeah, I'm going for a good old 60 minutes in an hour, and each number is an increment of 4 minutes.

How many minutes in an hour and how does the clock tell it? 60 minutes?
15hr for a full planet rotation and fairies usually sleep between 4 and 6 hrs

Ooh that time scale sounds interesting, 30 hour full days (two 15 hour rotations) or 15 hour full days? Also because of who might be knocking, queue suspenseful music.
