Directional Motion Detection and Tracking using Webcam
🕑 Added 2022-11-17 06:22:58 +0000 UTCYou might be familiar with simple motion detection techniques in TouchDesigner using nothing but a webcam, but what if you also wanted some direction information? Using the Optical Flow and some CHOP processing we can get a relatively clean signal of the general direction of movement (Left/Right/Down/Up), for very cheap in all regards - no blob tracking or OpenCV needed. We can then use these signals to trigger things based on the general direction of motion in the input, or control motion based on these directions.

Hey. Depends on the visuals. Please check out my interactive particlesGpu tutorial on YouTube, I use this component there in the section 'webcam interacrivity'

Noob question, How do I attach your component to a particle GPU for example, or other visuals? I'm new to this, I tried to figure it out without success :(

为什么不行,没有调用摄像头
