Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven Trade System
🕑 Added 2025-07-30 23:28:24 +0000 UTCI am writing and coding the trading system that will go into Part 4. This will allow you to trade with other groups, such as the Silverthorne Militia, the River Dogs, and others.
I would like to incorporate some unique items that you can only get by trading with other groups. The five groups are as follows:
Southern Ute
Red Mamba Biker Club (Thelma's group)
The Museum group
River Dogs
Silverthornes
What types of unique items do you think these groups would have?
For example, I was thinking that the Red Mamba Biker Club may have a Cobray Terminator 12-Gauge Shotgun. It's a bizarre, single-shot, pump-action shotgun from the 1980s.
What items would you recommend for the groups?

You could add a 45/70 lever action called "The Medicine Stick" from the Ute. It'd be something else that would use 45/70 and a fallout new vegas reference. The in game model in Fallout new vegas has a dream catcher on the stock and some tribal carvings on the wood. It'd be just a special variant of the lever action. Take your pick of manufacturers, winchester would make sense. I know the Cheyenne put some spiritual and cultural significance for some models of winchester and henry rifles. This would obviously be a Ute exclusive your could purchase after high reputation Another for the Ute weapon could be a Gunstock war club. Essentially it's a wooden gunstock that has ornamentation on it from deeds the owner has done, as well as sometimes spear point, blades, horns ect. It's a status symbol and a weapon all in one. Used by plains and eastern woodland tribes in the 18th and 19th centuries. A general resource you could add would be fur and pelts. In species that are over populated like coyotes it's more sustainable than cotton. Chemicals or the animals brain are used for the tanning process. Hide and furs could make clothes, blankes, backpacks and bags ect. Especially in cold Colorado winters. You could just lump it in with meat collected from hunting. The Ute would corner the market and sell clothing Buckskin pants Buckskin shirts Fur hats in different styles in coyote fur Daniel boone style Mountain man style Davy Crockett style Unshanka style Rabbit fur gloves Rabbit fur hat Fur coats from bearskin or wolf pelts Fur cloaks It feels like a fairly realistic resource a Main character with high survival would be able to harvest and possibly craft
