I just realised theres been a few comments I haven't kept up with, sorry seraph! and thats such a cool little tidbit and explains why they didnt take her seriously even more so than the fact she sounds (is) a little girl ahaha It's actually one of my big big big bucket list things to go to a natsu matsuri in japan during the summer - will know now what it means if I hear it!

In Japan people shout "Tamaya!" or "Kagiya!" during fireworks. Those were the names of famous manufactures of fireworks in the Edo era. People would call their names to cheer while watching their fireworks, and it eventually became a tradition.
