Merry Christmas and thank you for sharing this. Very different than the 1980's with a large mix of USN and MSC vessels supported by a number of Sealift class and new "T-5's" providing the point to point resupply. I remember bunkering from the Gianella in Diego Garcia in 1993. At the time I was 2nd mate on S/S Green Harbour (Central Gulf Lines) as part of the Afloat Pre-position Force.
