Nothing this month. Sorry.

Patreon has really helped me learn how to write on demand… but more and more, that just seems to be giving me the confidence to procrastinate until the very end of the month. Of course, I then feel justified in taking a break after rushing something out and the cycle continues.
That's not really how it should be. I legitimately want to write, but I've just turned it into a chore, and the mess that Sharing the Nation currently is isn't really helping. In fact, I might put it on official hiatus until I figure out what I'm doing.
Until then—well, at the very least, I should be getting last month's one-shot up on Fimfiction.net since I've been lax in that. In hindsight, I think it might be a little rushed, but it's a learning process. Short stories are something I don't have a lot of experience with, and I'll be interested to see how it's received.
As far as actual writing goes… for this next month, at least, I think I'll try and write something completely fresh. Sorry if that disappoints people who are looking forward to more ASP, but I really need to re-learn how to be proactive with my writing and just doing the same old things isn't going to help with that.

Oh no! When I find myself procrastinating a lot, it's usually because I'm quietly slipping into depression, and I need to get out and spend time with other ponies or at the very least get a change of scenery for a few hours to head it off. Go visit a park! Or hike somewhere? Do something fun away from the normal grind! Ooh, maybe you could try structuring your writing more like a NaNoWriMo thing and set a daily progress goal? Or in lieu of writing, you could do a Q&A or writing jam or something with your fans? I'm out of ideas for now! *sends hugs* I really hope you feel better and less overwhelmed soon! You can do it! I believe in you! *jumps around waving pom-poms* ❤️
