This update is not as much a volume update as it is a quality update. This month you wrote quite a lot of feedback about CPU diagnostics and I decided to redo it for the fourth time. It adds a number of tests (Y-cruncher), which more effectively check the operation of the core caches and also create a load to which the processor cannot adapt (previously you may have seen that some tests do not see errors in unstable CO). Algorithm of testing has been changed, the emphasis is on the number of various tests rather than long single-type tests.
The second important innovation is HYDRA CORE CURVE BUILDER - create your own curve for Nvidia graphics card in a few clicks.
Third - there are no limits for RTX/GTX-TUNER now (except for voltages).

* "APP PACK" has been updated to the latest versions. Critical for HYDRA version 1.5.
* HYDRA CORE CURVE BUILDER for Nvidia graphics cards. The user selects the number of points and offset/voltage values through which the curve will be drawn. No analogs from third-party software.
* No limitations in GTX/RTX-TUNER. For users who want to use extreme overclocking.
* Nvidia GPUs. The operating voltages range for the curve is increased to 1.1 volts.
* Increased error finding penalty values for GPU diagnostics. As a result, it should affect the stability of the final curve.
* CPU diagnostics written from scratch ("PHOENIX" also). Added a number of Y-cruncher tests to check the stability of the cache and cores under certain conditions. The testing algorithm has been changed.
* "HYDRA CPU DIAGNOSTIC CENTER" interface has been restructured to improve the user comfort and key settings are now defined by the application itself to avoid incorrect settings.
* "HYDRA CPU DIAGNOSTIC CENTER" has added the ability to quickly re-diagnose the "HOC CO", just enable the "Use my HOC" option.
* "HYDRA CPU DIAGNOSTIC CENTER" added the ability to enable critical WHEA event checking to improve the accuracy of CO value retrieval.
* "HYDRA CPU DIAGNOSTIC CENTER" will allow the Zen 4 user to select a preset for testing. The difference is that the Super Heavy preset includes the AVX2 instruction set (for some reason they are more resource intensive for Zen 4 than AVX512).
* "HYDRA CPU DIAGNOSTIC CENTER" has been given the ability to synchronize custom "AMD CO" values with starting values by clicking on the button with the icon of two arrows pointing at each other.
* Fixed a bug where "HYBRID OC" did not want to automatically power on after a system reboot.
* Changed basic trigger settings for "HYBRID OC" (settings tab). Faster detection of running game and less suboptimal profile switching.
* Improved overall application stability, improved exception handling and added support for CPU engineering samples.
* Fixed bug in multi-GPU systems when GPU diagnostics load the wrong GPU.
* Fixed a bug for GTX 1000 family graphics cards where custom frequency values for the curve did not match reality.
KNOWN ISSUES:
* False positive of antivirus (like always).
* Resetting the PBO2 default values may set incorrect values.

Hi all, you have to setup the Discord settings (Email address etc. in the Setting/Einstellungen page here) to directly be forwarded fromhere. Then, you are able to downlade the file.

Has anyone notice a pattern? Even a blind person can see it once you take the time to look at it. We get a few good builds, they seem to work ALMOST 100%. so instead of finishing that build with no bugs... -Somehow not happy with it, new code is written to make it "BETTER". -New code brings new bugs and problems which means MORE TIME to fix. -Next build those get somewhat fixed a little, but then new stuff is added, that's brings new bugs and you guessed it, more time for fixing. -Then not happy do again NEW code even if the one before was good.. -Need new code and more time for that new feature even if it means breaking the already almost good ones. -And then guess? -More time is needed to fix that. And I have every build from CTR and now Hydra to prove my point, hell many of you saw my screens postings of scores and related diag info, I even offered at 1 point the use of my 3 machines to help out. Like finding the diag bug on 1.5a and having to report it right away to a guru (KutaleKuiKaani), since I was being ignored by Yuri, because of my constant calling him out, that he was neglecting the CPU side. (saying you are only 1 person for all, but also rejecting a helping hand when it's offered to you makes no sense, but I guess it works for when you have to give a reason of why NOT this or that) Many of you here witness how he would answer any GPU related stuff right away specially to NEW members, but ignore almost every question related to the cpu side of things. Was he hoping ignoring it would go away or that in 4 more builds it would be fix but without saying anything and we would be ok with that? Oh and let's not forget banning people for calling him out and making up lies to the community to justify the ban. Didn't know we are not allowed to criticize the software and the developer when they were clearly ignoring issues. Let's not forget the ban is nothing, but still have to comply with Patreon and provide me with the Download link of my $15 TIER which I have had since Jan, 2021. ps: I gave him a chance and msg him priv 4 days ago and he ignored it, well I'm not going to ignore the resources Patreon provides for situations like this. At the end of the day this is a business transaction where we exchange money for goods. ps: I have many other devs I support that live in the same country and they seem to be doing their job with development and timelines with no problems or very minor ones. Just saying as I don't know what makes this different then their situations as that is the excuse more often given here, and yet they still deliver.

SOLVED! Please Yuri, when you link to download the Hydra version, also link the download of the app pack so people don't forget and avoid bad figures like mine.......and I refresh a suggestion when you start the scan instead of start it immediately before automatically inserting the switch to see if there are conflicts with other monitoring applications such as aida64 sensor panel many thanks :-)

Hi i'm try to scan wiht hydra last release but when ask me the path i'm insert where is the folder with the program but system don't show any path on the relative window. Am I doing something wrong?

Been using Hydra for 3 years and yes have done a lot of research. I know my way around systems. When I pay a pledge of $18 amth I expect better results.

there is no download, the link just go's to some stupid website called "discord" which honestly is a big pile of nothing. I really want to try Hydra it looks awesome, sadly "discord" is not awesome idk what it is buts its not Hydra I can say that for shure....

Same here, using the 1.5C Pro version. I have a RTX and I don't know how enable the Core offset / Voltage offset on the CORE & VRAM Control and run the HYDRA CORE CURVE CONTROL, may I miss some config flag or another thing?

Core offset (MHz) is not activated in RTX-TUNER. (RTX 4090, 537.13)

I think that app button is linking to a now-defunct page on Patreon, likely due to the piracy that Yuri mentioned a few months (weeks?) ago. He has since removed the download links from Patreon and they now exclusively can be found in Discord, IIRC. Yuri is a solo developer creating a highly complex utility that works at a fundamental level of your PC. Furthermore, he releases features at a fairly rapid pace, sometimes rewriting entire features to improve them. Oh yeah, and he lives in Ukraine, which, if you've been living under a rock in recent history, has been experiencing a _bit_ of instability that no doubt affects nearly every facet of daily life for Ukrainians. Maybe cut the guy some slack? As features are added to software, the complexity grows. As complexity grows, bugs of various flavors creep in, making maintenance more and more of a headache. Again, he's one man, with a finite collection of hardware and software, thus he can't test every conceivable combination of the two. My suggestion would be to collect as much info as you can about bugs and instability and report them in the appropriate channels. I think it's no secret that Yuri seems to prefer releasing new features over maintaining a bug-free and stable utility, but he's also pretty good about addressing the worst problems. He's also fairly communicative with us and has frequently provided suggestions on how to improve the operation of individual instances of Hydra for people. Lastly, have you thoroughly read the guide? It's chock full of useful information to get the most out of Hydra. It's a bit outdated at this point, but the most important points in it should still hold true. Good luck!

Hello! Maybe I am being stupid, but do you have to download the program all over again or can you still update through the program button? When i press the button in the app, it just forwards to a 404 patreon page, even though my discord is linked to my patreon account

Why has Hydra got worse , itβs been full of bugs for the last four builds. Keeps freezing 5950X never had these issues? Why is it happening?
