FAHnART CHALLENGE!
🕑 Added 2020-10-26 18:06:22 +0000 UTCSo there's an October FAHnART CHALLENGE currently running and it's insane good. There's a new theme each day and todays theme is 'Throw'. So we would like to Throw this poster out there. It's something we had commissioned years ago but weren't super happy with at at the time so we threw (throw) it away. Having gone back to have a look at it, I think we may have been too hasty. Let us know what ya think and I've included a file download link if you'd like to print out a copy for yourself.

I saw the first half and thought "wow, great!" and then scrolled down to the snakey arm and the water spilling (?) cymbal and thought "ew, no". I love the colors, but not sure what to make of the fruit-heads. That said, the poster would definitely get my attention if I saw it somewhere, but I'd not quite sure what kind of show to expect.

I would say too much Python - too little FAH ! Very nice artist work though.

I love the poster. Its very Monty Pythonesque. Some of your sketches show the influence of Messrs Chapman, Cleese, Gilliam, Idle, Jones and Palin. One day, one day, FAH will also have at least one BAFTA.

A full version?! Wow, thank you very much! I fell in love with this poster the very first time I saw it! 😍 No way! This is SUCH an aesthetic! It does have a Monty Python feel to it, and the design is very vintage circus poster-like! Your stage clothing ensembles work well with this because they give the same vintage-style vibes. It works well appearance-wise! I don’t think it totally reflects your comedy and I could totally understand why you guys didn’t take to it. It’s not uniquely you, know what I mean? But I personally enjoy the aesthetic! And it’s so beautifully designed! Thank you so much again! Spoiling us! 🥰
I think it’s a beautiful poster and love the details that abound within. The duck is precious. That said, I can see why you didn’t fully embrace it. My initial thought when looking at it is Flying Circus rather than FAH, which isn’t really what you’re looking for with promotional material. Somehow, it’s missing the unique spark of Foil, Arms and Hog. It needs more “Doom-Dah!”

I agree that it's a lovely poster, but not quite you and what you represent. It's too vaudeville.
The art challenge is so fun, even on the days I can’t make anything I so love all the art everyone else is making! Definitely go look if you haven’t!! The poster is fun and interesting to look at. Thanks for sharing this!
