You know Rebecca could go on and be wicked and ruin all the players' lives, but she was lucky that people like Ted and Keeley came into her life and moved her back to her right path, to her right mind, and she started to be the best of herself. That's what positive, kind people do to the people around them. And Ted showed us that he is a clean and kindhearted person who does not know hatred and anger; he only wants to forgive and be friends.😭❤️

I rarely tell anyone on Patreon why I decided to support, but I'm going to tell you. I have watched a ton of reactors going through Ted Lasso, and you are the first that is actually familiar with Football, and knows stuff about the game. I am an American (sorry), and I know just about nothing about Football (sorry again). I have been so interested to know how this holds up to the scrutiny of a Football fan, and your reactions are giving me that. Plus, I think your reactions to everything else are pretty solid too. I can't wait for you to see where this series will take you.

Thanks for the reaction. This is one of my favorite episodes. I think the way Rupert told Rebecca about the baby, in the cruelest way possible, drove home the point that Rupert is just a bad guy and Ted is a good guy and there is nothing that Rebecca can do to Ted and the team to get back at Rupert.

I hate the fact that he's called "Rupert" because it's subverting my childhood memories of watching "The Adventures of Rupert The Bear" (the original puppet one from 1970 - shut it!). This is a pivotal episode in the series. Thank you, Claudie. See ya on the next one. Cheers!

I was glad that Rebecca finally saw what a kind of person she had become while trying to keep even with her ex-husband in being petty, mean and hurtful. I only wished she had realized how much she could actually humiliate Rupert by making his beloved club more successful than it ever was under his reign. But I get the reflex to lash out against someone who hurts you, to pay him back in kind. Roy stepping back from the first team - as the captain and absolute leader at that - was indeed a huge step for him. To make it work and not destroy the team spirit it had to come from him, no matter what any coach might say. Btw, what issue did you have with Roy before? I loved how his niece just takes him as he is and is totally unfazed by his gruff and insulting demeanor. She only rolled her eyes and smiled because she knows exactly how her uncle thinks and expresses himself...😊 Fun fact: It's indeed Marcus Mumford from Mumford & Sons who wrote the title song and was involved in selecting and writing the music for the show. Another fun fact: Coach Beards toxic chess playing on/off-girlfriend is played by Phoebe Walsh, another writer of the show. P.S.: I love Higgins, he is probably the kindest character in this show (aside from Ted) and a really valuable asset to the club...😍
