Finally getting around to this and getting so much ptsd! It reminds me exactly of when i was supporting my alcohol ex for years, just giving him every single thing he might need to succeed as a sober person. In reality i was totally enabling him to stay exactly how he was. This is like ultra mega enabling she's getting. People like this have to reach rock bottom all alone, it sucks so much but nothing else ever really gets through to them. Addicts gonna addict every last drop out of every single bit of help you give them until it's all gone and they have no other choice but to actually face themselves and decide if they want to live. It was so hard for me to understand this at the time and I still can't really understand it. Anyway that guy went to jail for drunk driving a few months after I kicked him out lol. Hope he's doing well but soooo glad it's not my problem anymore. I'm sure most people felt that way after escaping Lindsay.
