I am not sure either. In 2016, the polling was so off because the data neglected rural voters, so I am not sure how they adjusted things to compensate. But based on 2024 polling, they had things as even -- but we now know that was clearly inaccurate.

In London, most of the time, the Piccadilly Line’s last stop is Cockfosters. The automated announcer says at every stop, “This is the Piccadilly Line to COCKFOSTERS” For the three years I lived there, it would always give me a moment of joy in such a grim place 😂😂 thanks for the reminder and the lols 🙏🏼

Yes! I’ve started calling my time in the morning when I straighten up the house while wandering around with headphones in my “choregasm” time. My husband is always trying to talk to me and now I’m like “Um, I’m choregasming…”

What I learned in 2016, polling data is garbage and I know refuse to acknowledge them. Also, as a Black person, I was hopeful that Harris would win … but I knew what was up. I felt nothing about the election results, but those spam text message about rounding up Black people to work on plantations got me feeling worried about what’s to come.
