197. Goodbye Horses, Hello Disneyland
🕑 Added 2025-03-01 04:03:43 +0000 UTCTracie just got back from a trip to California where she saw Tyler the Creator's Chromakopia show and, of course, went to Disneyland. Rich talks about the documentary Goodbye Horses: The Many Lives of Q Lazzarus.
Purchase Girl Scout Cookies from Troop 6000, a program designed to serve families living in temporary housing in the New York City shelter system.
You can read Rich's New York Times story about Q Lazzarus here.

Cookie Mom here, only $5 in PA. There are two different bakeries that supply GS cookies. So there’s different prices and types based on your region. Last year here for Toast-Yays.

This is the last year for S’mores Girl Scout cookies after this year: discontinued.

So wild to me, a Houstonian who grew up going to the six flags theme park Astroworld, to hear you talk about the SHOW astroworld in the same episode you discuss your Disney ride disappointment.

Them's NYC cookie prices. My local girl scout cookie dealer in Florida gave me 8 boxes for $48.

I once met Marilu Henner, her husband was childhood friends with my boss. I kind of love the idea that she very likely remembers me.

I too have seen Peter D a shocking amount of times — and the first was when I was a student at Bard. I’d just seen Station Agent at Upstate Films and the next day my friends and I were at a sushi place and he and his very beautiful, comparatively very tall wife came in and ate at the table next to us. We were all stoned and smiling at him which probably was the wrong move.
