The SSI Benefit thing is huge. Getting the money from the show could be too much income for someone taking SSI. The government is probably going to take away Natalia’s benefits because she demonstrated she can generate an income. SSI is basically designed to keep disabled people impoverished. Not only that, the income could cancel her access to Medicaid, which she would need for the surgeries. I think it’s pretty clear that Nicole orchestrated most of this show to get Natalia another check from Max in case they couldn’t recover the money from the Manns and Natalia’s SSI was cut. Which, I think was the right thing to do in the end. But, I think this will lead to Natalia constantly having to sell another show and exploit herself to keep herself financially afloat. Hopefully the Depauls will help her invest her money, so she doesn’t have to keep working with Hot Snakes. They are so dubious.
