I think their issue is with the incorrect use of the term pedophile, which is a term that describes someone who is attracted to a pre-pubescent child; not a teen. People use that term as an attack because it has so much power to destroy. Drake is just widely inappropriate.

I remember Millie Bobby Brown talking about she and Drake texting when she was, like, 15. And Billie Eilish. Hi, this is Rich. That's not at all what I meant. I started to make a philosophical point about the Pulitzer board potentially being a largely white group and how big of a compliment that actually is to hip hop/a Black artist (i.e. how meaningful is white validation after all), but I trailed off because I don't know the makeup of the Pulitzer board, and whatever, prestige is prestige I guess. I know Clint detected the same thing, and that it came out wrong, so to clarify, I don't believe that Kendrick won the award because he's Black. I believe he won it because he's brilliant.
