Hey everyone,
Of all the most challenging releases in this game's history, this one was definitely the worst, fighting me until four minutes before release for the Early Build, and then throughout the week with numerous bugs. Special thanks to everyone that private messaged me a bug report, and to Somebodynobody who played through the game twice with a grammar checker. Those issues have all been fixed.
Usually, I give a brief summary of the build, but for this release update, I just wanted to explain why you should start a new save in order to get the most out of Version 0.75. Save game compatibility has always been a priority for me, and after almost two years of public development on Superherores Suck, this is the first time I have ever requested that you start a fresh save.
You all know by now that I've lost my job recently, which has given me a limited but massive chunk of free time to devote to the game. There were a slew of time-consuming issues that game has been plagued with from the start: the look of the Academy, the difficulty in navigating it, the poor pacing of Harper's story, Valentina's first h-scene, and the slidehow animations. Implementing fixes to each of these individually has the ability to break saves because of how they affect events. So, I decided to do them all at once and make adjustments to protect the save files integrity as I went. On my normal work schedule, with my old day job, it would have taken me maybe four months to complete all of this, two and a half versions in total to address. This way, I rip the band-aid off and get it all done in one.
A lot of changes here were under the hood, but all of the "new" content has been interwoven into the game's earlier events, like Harper's fully replaced h-events. You can still enjoy the new animations in a current save as a repeatable h-scene (also updated), but to get the full experience of Version 0.75, a new start is strongly recommended.

If you've completed everything in the game from Version 0.70, you technically don't have to start a new save. There won't be much content for you in this update, but all you need to do is click the "Ignore" button on the first crash report screen that comes up. It will be searching for audio files that are missing, except they've not been deleted. I just moved them to a different folder and it will reset once you sleep. You will still experience inconsistencies and oddities because of the changes to a few variables, but since the variables I put into are always assigned a default value, you'll probably be okay. I just did a playthrough with a save file from 0.35.
Still, this is the best time to start a new save in Superheroes Suck and I have no plans for any extensive early game rewrites anytime soon.

Upgrading will fix some of the event trigger bugs, like the aforementioned elevator bug. On the other hand, if you're getting a cat hint, try clicking on the cat in the protagonist's bedroom during the morning.
Thanks guys, I'm in no rush to get through the story... Looked at the hints and both Valentina and Chrys's said wonder what the lecture is about. Riley something about the cat and laptop. I'm on version 0.75.4early.. Maybe use 0.75.1 ?

It sounds like you just cleared the second patrol event, so you've still got plenty of game to go! Are you using the little hint system when you click on the heart symbol? The next time with Chrys should be outlined there. I think for where you're at, it's just knocking on her door in the morning.

Thats not the end,there will be more story with Riley and Chrys too. Probably you ran into that bug,what i found too. Try the second floor elevator to the garage.
Just met the Villain for the first time and fought on the rooftop. Chrys says I should go with her mother to eat somewhere. But no events are triggered...

Love your work! You're the only one who gives the characters well character in this genre! I'm at the end of the current content I think. Though Riley's and Chrys' arc aren't finished yet? Can anybody confirm this?

There are plans for that! It's going to be a while, but I do have threesome content in mind for the future as well as "harem events." It's taken a while because those events take eons to render, and so I want the main story and the character stories in a better place first before I devote roughly two weeks to a threesome event.

Got into your game several releases ago, but decided I'd set the game down for a bit and wait til you got your early game rework finished, so I'm excited to jump back in now it's done. One question I've been meaning to ask (and I'm a few updates behind on the newest content so I apologize if it's already addressed) are there plans for more overlap in the different harem members stories, potential threesomes, seeing them getting comfortable being in a relationship with the same guy, etc. as we get further into the story? Or are they mostly going to have their own self contained arcs?
