Andy wants to be everything for Coop, even though he's only one dog and he hasn't accepted that Coop could be everything for him. He knows he's irrational and selfish and he reflects SO MUCH of what us humans feel if we try to traverse these waters

This is sad because Andy’s reaction is actually really relatable. I’d react the same way, at least. I’d feel horrible for being hypocritical, but Andy ALWAYS knew Cooper and River had some sort of attraction even before Coop and Andy discussed their relationship. It was a suspicion he didn’t want to be right, but he always knew. I’m just so so happy Cooper didn’t lie about it.

I mean . . . oddly, it's seemed to me from the beginning that Andy's relationship with Emery existed only because Andy didn't have a sexual outlet and-or romantic relationship with Cooper. I get Andy and I get his jealousy. I don't think that this is Andy's ideal scenario to begin with but he's going with it for a variety of reasons. Or maybe I'm just reading too much of myself into Andy, but I feel like Andy has a huge emotional investment in Cooper and I'm not sure that that emotional investment is reciprocated by Cooper. It feels to me like Cooper would be able to get along fine without Andy, but I don't know that Andy would EVER be able to get over Cooper.

I'm proud of our two idiots. Cooper being more level headed and being better about recognizing emotions of others. Andy, while still being unfair, acknowledged his hypocrisy and is vulnerable with his own insecurities. Thought I'd have to pull out the Fuk Boi contract.
