Double whammy
🕑 Added 2024-06-09 23:24:02 +0000 UTCI dunno about you guys, but I am on a rough streak this year as far as catching stray colds and gunk! I had a great run from 2019-2023 with zero illness, but now it seems as though my body is making up for lost time ๐ Iโm taking daily immunity supplements from now on, and Iโve been trying to pound back those awful ginger/cayenne pepper juice shots ๐ค
As for the wrist thing, oogh, that one really burns my biscuits. I have a ganglion cyst that puts pretty harsh pressure on my tendons. Over the years Iโve gotten x-rays, creams, shots, braces, the works. I considered surgery, but they basically told me that itโs most likely gonna grow back, thus risking injuring my wrist further through invasive procedures for nothing. So all I can do is just try to get the pain and tenderness down through good olโ fashioned compression, heat, icing, etc. ๐
I just wanted to squeeze this doodle and update out for you because I always feel better keeping you in the loop. Iโll be back to working on the comics, commissions, and other art ASAP! Hope you guys have a nice restful Sunday ๐

In the old days they would slam those cysts with a book โnormally a bibleโ they became known as bible cysts. That would bust and cure them. Idk if I would do that though ๐ it would have to hurt. I know a couple people who have done it though and they swear it took the cyst and it didnโt come back lol

You just concentrate on getting better. Donโt worry about any of us. ๐ Also, I know the feeling. Having one bad thing and then another, that royally sucks!

Jack, dunno if itโs an option where you live, but THC cream does wonders. My mother in law has a cyst right in her wrist also, and she found this stuff to be the best thing she has tried so far.
