Update- January
🕑 Added 2022-01-30 23:14:31 +0000 UTCDue to the slowness of commissions coming in, against what I anticipated I moved to doing Uber to pay for the rest of my bills this month. I also decided to work the first week of February with Uber to raise enough for rent and bills that month too. I'm thinking the first week of the month I'll Uber a bunch and bring in enough to pay for bills for the month and then I'll work on art the rest of the month so I am not relying on commissions to survive. It has been hard on many artist, musicians and actors the past month and I am not exempt from that, once I have everything taken care of I'm going to send out the merchtacular packages and work on the sugar daddy tier work, and then resume ubering for the week and then go back to normal production.
Relying on commissions to survive is hard work for artist (Not only are you your own boss, you are your own tax advisor, your own health insurer, merchandisor, legal department, marketing team, production director and more), and a lot of established artist move to comics or animations etc on Patreon to lean off of that. That is still ultimately my goal and I have made some steps to move towards that, though I still have more to do to fine tune a lifestyle where I am not just hustling to survive but to gain wealth.
Although January was fun and stressful too, (it was my birthday), I wasn't able to Uber for the first half of the month due to covid and a lack of testing, so I'm making it work with what I got.

I do not have the luxury of staying at my parents house or having them or a family wealth to lean onto, and I am quite literally scraping my way up this fucked up caste and society with the power of dicks and gay angst. I will get what I need and I will not give up.

Some goals I have in the upcoming month is finally find a health insurance policy that is comprehensive and affordable. That includes dental and the things I need. File for taxes Start a savings for when I move out of my current questionable living situation at the end of may. This includes having a net gain of wealth coming in and not just hitting the bare minimum. Try and take care of myself more, and work on my health. Fine tune my microgreens side gig and canvas my local neighborhood to gain an audience.
