March and April Announcements!
🕑 Added 2019-03-03 17:52:23 +0000 UTCHi everyone! Thank you for a fun month of February! Things are really turning up in both comics, so I will do my best to stay on top of it all. I also have other projects that I'll be sharing with you as I prep for BLFC. Here's what you can expect this month broken down into sections.
First set of mouse pads done, what next?
PRINTS! Last time I was at a convention, the biggest feedback I got was to provide more prints next time. I would love to bring something fresh this year, so I will begin drafting up potential prints to have available online and at conventions. Expect more WIP's, polls, and questions from me. You guys are the powerful part of the engine that fuels this series, so I want to make sure I am producing content that YOU most want to see!
I will also be beginning drafts of Volume 2's cover and I'm toying with the idea of a revival cover for Volume 1. Keep an eye out!
To any Patrons attending BLFC who wants a traditional sketch commission to pick up in person:
Please tell me ASAP! I will not be taking many commissions over the weekend (I bit off WAY more than I could chew last time, surprising no one xD) but I would like to prioritize patrons for securing a spot if you'd like to take it.
Commissions will be traditional pencil and ink with two colors of your choice for highlights and shadows. Up to three characters max with minimal or implied background. Otherwise, you are totally free to any species, genders, nudity/sexual content, etc. As long as all activity portrays consensual bipedal adults 18 or over, you're good to go!
Not sure what you want and can't decide in time? No problem! Have a look through the YCH catalogue when you get to the con! (see next section)
BLFC YCH:
In order to prep for BLFC and maximize how many commissions I can accomodate, I will be making traditional YCH's to place in my little catalogue for con attendees to browse though and choose to have complete to their personal liking. This went over fantastically at FC and made the entire process easier for both parties. I will be posting these YCH's here for you to see, and please comment or message me on here if you see a YCH you want to claim and secure for yourself to be picked up at con.

To anyone who has tried to contact me on any site except this one, please note that I have that setting turned off. I apologize for any inconvenience. I'm just trying to maximize my productivity when I set aside time to work on the comic. Notes add up too heavily to read and reply to currently. In order to deliver more content to you, I need to eliminate my one-on-one conversational activity. I really appreciate all the kind words and requests though! Thank you for caring enough to take the time to write to me, It's very appreciated. I will just be on low-response for the time being ?
What chu been up to, Loo? (the personal part)
I'll be honest, February was a challenge for me. My therapist passed away and there were times where I needed to simply put everything down and go be with loved ones for a little while. However, I've been working hard to maintain my mental/emotional health. When I'm not with you guys, I am at my day job that I very much enjoy. At home, I have been taking on projects to beautify my living space and apply Marie Kondo's books into practice (seriously, go read or watch her content!) Not only am I making progress to make my place feel like MY home, it's been really nice to get to know myself again. I lost a lot of my identity over the years, and being on my own has put me in a position where I have to sort of find myself again, cheesy as it may sound... Overall, I am happy that I managed to finish the three mouse pads within a month and push out the comic pages. I know it feels slower on your end, so thank you for your patience and support.

I as well have had mental health issues over the last 4 years. Mental health is a difficult thing, and is never clear-cut. I hope things will shape up for you Jack, and know that we are all behind you.

Oh man, personal part really struck a chord with me. I myself am struggling to fix my mental/emotional health. Lately I have a lot of anxiety, because many things are just not working out. It really destroys my soul, and I try my best to go back on track. Also, I've been doing freelancing stuff for 3 years, but I feel like it ruined me, as even though I want to go back to a regular job, I have developed a social anxiety, that makes me feel like I won't adapt or will fail. So i totally agree - finding yourself, as cliche as it sounds, it's important.
