When I took the tour with my wife we were shown a mirror, where "No matter how often the silver backing is refreshed, the same stain, showing the head of a little girl, always returns." The house is smaller than most people picture in their heads, plantation houses almost always are . . .but the restaurant on the grounds is worth a visit even if plantations aren't your thing.
