For starters contact the site about infringement of copyright. They usually contact the user about this. I you find the culprit banned him/her for a period of time. There will always be som idiot who thinks it "wonderful art which should be shared", but they don't understand that it's our livelihood they are spreading for free. Like Chrisoft just wrote, asked us to find the user and site, so you can keep our copyrights

Just want to add that I totally support you in this, Marccus. There's no reason or excuse for people to be reuploading your art elsewhere. It's not even like you're asking for anything for it. Whoever did it should be ashamed of themselves. Hopefully they take the hint.

I'm sorry this happened and understand how that would be demoralizing. Do what makes you happy & put that effort into something you enjoy. If you aren't feeling the streak rewards for a while, chip away at pinups or Eastwood. I'm not going anywhere. And if we get a little bonus here and there, great! But I'll interpret them as exactly that... extras. I'm still more than satisfied with your output and the rewards I get for being a patron.

As of right now, streak rewards are not guaranteed in any tier and is a bonus. Maybe bumping it up to the $10 will be what people need to upgrade their tier and stop or really limit the amount of people stealing the streaks? idk

People who take locked content from Patreon and reupload it elsewhere are the worst. Was hoping your streak rewards would help mitigate auto-scrapers but that sounds like someone who's doing it themselves, which is even worse. Sorry, man.

If its at all possible, tag and watermark the special rewards in a way that allows you to narrow 'whodunnit' down to maybe 5 choices. Or an alternating set of both so that each combo is unique

+1 to this I don't want this to be taken the wrong way, but there has to be another way around this that doesn't involve collective punishment. It's been proven to be ineffective, on top of it being just morally questionable. It's a real bummer for us patrons too just knowing there's potential artworks that'll just never come into existence. Given that the nature of art theft like this is anonymous as well, it's unlikely that the perpatrator even cares about Marcus' art and livelihood as well, and collective punishment may just end up harming just his loyal supporters.. I understand the sentiment behind this post but I hope that Marcus will consider an alternate solution! Fuck art theft!

Well that really sucks, because it affects so many of us who are innocent, but I do understand it. There is no way of finding out who did it, so you have to do something to prevent it from happening. There have to be consequences. I really hope no one does it anymore, like c'mon you're ruining it for everybody!!!
