Magic can't kill (like a law of physics, it just can't), and conventional weapons aren't very effective against magic (even silvered weapons), so collaring is the next best thing anyone could think of for an offensive spell. (Plus it's a TF comic so I thought having the main threat be being tf-ed would be fun 😊)
