Going into dual stepfordization, are we? I can only assume so by the swept bang Tandy's hairdo is taking on, but this is cute either way. The depth of character can be tricky to land with people in TF comics like this, but I think you definitely created a pair that feel like a real, genuine loving couple, and I have to give applause for that. Also, glad to know your cat's okay! Hopefully whatever plants she ate can be cut back or something; our furry friends need to be protected from themselves sometimes... I should know, having had to stop my cat from scratching her forehead due to an itch that developed into a low-level abscess.

Can’t remember if I brought it up, but it was a stressful week. (Oh wait, I made a drawing about it. My brain is failing.) Yes, she hadn’t eaten for a week. Two vet visits and an ultrasound later, we never found the cause, but it was probably due to a toxic plant. Raspberry leaves are bad for cats. Lilies and poinsettias I knew about, but not this!

I wasn’t going to be there, but I know in a previous sketch from a few years ago, I had Tandy as a 50s husband. Briefcase, suit and hat, etc. I reject that one too, though, because that feeds into the old inaccurate trope of same sex couples: which one’s the “man” and which one’s the “woman?”
