Guide: Basics of using StableDiffusion, or “How to make your Koikatsu pictures look arguably better”
🕑 Added 2022-10-16 21:06:00 +0000 UTCIf you've been around the internet recently, then you've probably seen people post AI-generated images or re-drawings of existing images. They were most likely using diffusion AI models, StableDiffusion being the most popular recently.
In the past week some people on the Koikatsu discord server started using StableDiffusion to make Koikatsu screenshots look more like 2D art, like in the preview above. This guide will show you how you can join in on the fun without having to pay anything (assuming you have a good enough GPU already).

To be clear, you can do much more than just edit Koikatsu screenshots, any image in any style will work. You can also generate completely new images from text, as well as AI upscale images (similarly to waifu2x).

The UI won't let you set a bad size, so this only applies to command line usage.

Note that the size of your image for img2img should be a 64 step (512,576...), or you will encounter the following error: "RuntimeError: Sizes of tensors must match except in dimension 1. Expected size 136 but got size 135 for tensor number 1 in the list."
